The Milwaukee Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure®, one of more than 125
Affiliates nationwide dedicated to ending breast cancer forever, has recently awarded
community grants totaling $863,327. These grants will
support breast health education, mammograms and breast cancer treatment here in
Southeastern Wisconsin. Susan G. Komen for the Cure® empowers women to take
charge of their own health.

These program facilitates free information and education focused on the importance
of breast self-examination (BSE) and mammography. The program helps women understand
why these screening methods are so important and dispels myths.
Community Outreach Health Clinic in Menomonee Falls
Free Mammograms for Uninsured Women
One hundred 100 low-income, women whose age (or other risk factors) put them at
higher risk for breast cancer will be identified and referred to Community Memorial
Hospital Breast Care Center for free mammograms.
